A Fun Day at MSU

Finally, the weather is nice...in November! We had a fun day killing Western! Kyle slept over 3 hours in the stroller while I walked a good four plus miles. It was a beautiful day for football!

Zoo Boo

We had a little party and went to the Zoo boo at the Detroit Zoo to go trick-or-treating. It rained a bit, but it was 70 degrees so we didn't care! This was the first time that the Kirklin cousins were together. How fun! What cute costumes everyone had! Kyle enjoyed the only healthy treat he got-an apple!

Apple Orchard 2009

We picked THE coldest day of fall to head to the apple orchard bright and early. We went with Adam's bro and girl, whom Kyle loves. It was fun, but cold. Warm donuts helped a lot! We picked many apples, Kyle ate 3 before we left the orchard, and the rest we used to make delicious applesauce!

Scarecrows

I think we started a tradition...our lovely little scarecrow family. Good work, Adam. Kyle loves the scarecrows!

Fall Festival with Cousin Coral

Last weekend, we met Adam's sister, Carrie, and Kyle's Cousin Coral at a Fall Festival. The kids enjoyed their first pony ride, first straw maze, and liked petting the animals and jumping in the bounce house. It was so much fun!

The Zoo

Pretty soon, Kyle will be giving tours of the zoo. Why? Because we go A LOT! We went 4 times in 3 weeks. I guess that's a bonus for living close to the zoo. Kyle's favorites are the lemurs, meerkats, and monkeys! And he saw the zebras playing "horseyback" if you know what I mean!
