Opening Day

Bad Play! Wow! We scored! 7th Inning Stretch (and dig for gold break) Opening Day this year was on Good Friday, and a good Friday it was for the Tigers! We won! Kyle and I watched it from home (well, some of it). Go Tigers!

March Madness

As you all know, there has been a LOT of excitement the past few weeks with the Spartans making it to the Final Four! And better yet...the Final Four was taking place 20 minutes from our house in Downtown Detroit! Adam is always bummed because he is at his busiest time for work during March Madness, so I told him that this is our chance! So, as our Mother's Day, Father's Day, and 30th Birthday gifts to each other, we bought ourselves some tickets! And thanks to Mike and Jen and Adam's mom for helping us to watch Kyle, we had a blast! It was a beautiful day on Saturday and we met up with LOTS of college friends at Harry's Bar in Detroit for some stinky drinkies...like old times! Then...off to the game! It was so cool to be at another Final Four, and it was awesome to have so many Spartans there. It was awesome to see a win and make it to the final game, especially after so many people didn't think State would get as far as they did. Of course, we were bummed to lose to UNC, but they could do nothing wrong! :( So, here are some pics from the finals, and of course Kyle too while we were at home preparing for the big games!

It's been a loooooooonnnn timeeeee!

Thanks to facebook for soaking up any downtime I have....but here we are, back on the blog! Kyle has been such fun to be around! He has been learning a lot! He loves to build with his legos now, and is trying to talk. He needs a major haircut, and is going to turn into a blueberry or some other fruit because he is a fruit junkie! Most of the time he is pretty easy-going (except when you bring him home and come inside the house, instead of going out to play in the yard). He learned to say "State" (or ate) when we read his Spartan books and enjoys watching the basketball games (right close to the t.v.). I promise I will try to keep updating pics since the people who look at this live far away, but you probably won't see any great ones because it is hard to get pictures of him smiling! He really does smile a lot, he just doesnt' get the whole look at the camera and say cheese deal yet!

Kirklin cousins

Here's a cute video of Kyle being "the man" and pushing his cousin Coral around.

Still loving bathtime!

More fun bath pictures! Getting a little small for the baby bath, but it so much easier to fill up!

Pasta!

So, yes, this is my fourth blog of the night, but if I don't post them now, I won't get to it for another few weeks! Kyle LOVES pasta (just like his mom). He has learned how to blow on his food to make sure it is cool enough to eat. Love the messy face! Not fun to clean up!
