Welcome, Baby Linden

Baby Linden Lane Buck III was born on September 2, 2009. This is Kyle's second cousin in the family, his first boy cousin. He has been talking about Baby Buck forever...however when we got to meet him, Kyle wasn't so interested. He shied away from the cute babe. Maybe it was because he was glowing with the billirubin blanket? Or maybe because he was waiting to go feed the cows with Grandpa for the first time? Who knows! I was so bummed! He is so cute! We can't wait to see him again!

The Last and Oldest State Fair

We made a trip to the State Fair. Supposedly, it's the final year. It seems a lot more empty in the barns than what I remember. Needless to say, Kyle enjoyed his time seeing the animals. He loved the animals, but I think more than that, he LOVED his first drinks of chocolate milk! He even went back to the lady at the stand on his own and said, "more please". Here's a few pics!

Go Tigers!

Here are some pictures from our favorite scenic spot in Comerica Park. Although we lost to Tampa Bay, it was a cool, beautiful day-a great day for baseball and hanging out with the Geottes's! The boys had fun and did a great job watching the game!

Boots

Kyle loves his spiderman boots...in the house and in the puddles. Especially in the puddles!

Rock-a-baby

Kyle LOVES babies! He notices them everywhere we go-at the park, the store, etc. and he talks about all the babies he meets. Here he is singing to his baby (notice it's a boy-Adam picked them out of the box. They are my old cabbage patch kids). He's pretty gentle..most of the time with it.

Milk or water?

Maybe I'm a bad mom for posting this...but it always gives me a good laugh! Kyle learned a new word over the summer...and has remained in his memory! You can hear in the video that I try EVERYTHING in my power NOT to laugh! So, here it is...happy smiles and laughs!

So Cool

OK, so I had to post all. My buddy, Kate, who is still as much of a riot now as she was when we lived together at MSU...and her kids are a riot too! Although we didn't get to visit long, I had a blast hanging out with her and her family! She took these pictures and I am so impressed with her eye for pictures! Go Kate! Thanks so much for capturing this!
